Nadya Hall
Film & Television Production
Biography
I'm Nadya Hall; a storyteller, writer, and filmmaker. I currently study RTA Media Production at Toronto Metropolitan University, where I focus on comedy television and film production.
My work explores character driven humor through multiple formats, including sitcom pilots, stand-up comedy, sketch comedy, and short films.
I wrote and produced a three-episode sketch comedy series featuring multiple sketches per episode and have created several independent short films. Alongside my studies, I work as a freelance writer and continue developing original comedy projects.
Beyond writing, I’m passionate about leadership and producing. I currently serve as Program Manager at MetTV and Executive Producer at Spirit1, where I help guide creative teams and oversee projects from development through production.
I am currently seeking opportunities as a writing assistant, with the long term goal of working in television writers’ rooms and eventually becoming a writer and showrunner.
