About Me
My Experience

My name is Nadya Hall. I currently study RTA Media Production at Toronto Metropolitan University. I’m a film and television creator with a passion for comedy and storytelling. My work focuses on writing and producing character-driven projects that balance strong creative vision with practical, organized execution.

I’ve created and produced live studio sitcoms, sketch comedy series, and short films, often taking on multiple roles across writing, directing, and production. Through projects like Study Break and live multi-camera shows, I’ve gained hands-on experience leading teams, coordinating productions, and bringing scripts from the page to the screen.
I’m especially drawn to collaborative environments where creativity and structure meet; whether that’s a writers’ room, a studio floor, or a fast-paced live production. My goal is to keep developing bold, funny, and well-crafted stories
Apart from film and television production I also have a great love for theatre. In high school, I wrote an original play that was selected from student submissions and fully produced by the theatre department. The play was titled Writers’ Block, and was inspired by the film Fight Club. This was an early moment that showed me the power of seeing my words come to life on stage.

different jobs throughout my life. Whether working as a theatre camp counsellor, sailing instructor, as a Bar Back, or even at McDonald’s, I’ve always been drawn to fast-paced, people-focused environments that challenge me to lead, collaborate, and grow.
My love of live performance goes even past theatre with stand up comedy and music. I’ve performed stand up across the GTA, including iconic venues like The Second City. I’m also a Level 7 RCM classically trained pianist who occasionally dabbles in guitar and drums, as music has always been a big part of my life.
Beyond the arts, I bring discipline and dedication to everything I do. I’m a black belt in Gōjū-ryū
karate with over 14 years of training. I understand the importance of hard work through working many
